March is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month

March is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month and charities and non-profit organizations around the world are taking the opportunity to push MS into the spotlight and raise money for vital research and support for people who live with the disease.

The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) has marked the occasion with a promotional video,  featuring MS patients sharing some of the ways the organization has helped them.

There is currently no cure for MS, which affects around 2.5 million people globally and 400,000 people in the U.S. While treatments are constantly improving and MS patients have a better quality of life than ever before, more research into the disease, future treatments, and a possible cure is still needed.
